HouseBinder is a local-first home records management app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection

HouseBinder does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No account system — No sign-up or login required.
• No analytics — We do not track app usage or behavior.
• No advertising — No ads, no ad networks, no ad identifiers.
• No tracking — No third-party tracking SDKs or cookies.
• No network requests — All data stays on your device.

Data Storage

All data you enter into HouseBinder is stored locally on your device:

• Item names, model numbers, serial numbers
• Purchase dates and prices
• Receipt photos and documents
• Warranty expiration dates
• Maintenance schedules and repair records
• Notes

This data is stored within the app sandbox and is not accessible to other apps.

Notifications

HouseBinder uses local notifications only for maintenance and warranty reminders that you create. No push notification server is involved.

Photos

When you attach photos (receipts, product labels, etc.), they are stored locally within the app data on your device. They are never uploaded to any server.

In-App Purchases

HouseBinder offers optional In-App Purchases processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for details on how Apple handles purchase data.

Data Deletion

You can delete any record at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device.

Children's Privacy

HouseBinder does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
